- Turn the vacuum over and remove the fibers or particles that have accumulated on the beater bar. Use scissors to remove chains or hair that have wrapped around the beater bar.
Tips and Warnings
If the vacuum uses a HEPA filter, do not try to clean the filter. A dirty HEPA filter must be completely replaced. Cleaning a HEPA filter disables its ability to capture dust. Make sure the vacuum cleaner and all its parts are completely dry before plugging into an outlet.
